Default Images on Lists

I'm wondering if this was changed or what, but on Default, if I have pictures on my list, I can never just put the poster of the the thing that I'm listing. I can only put the pictures I put there with the whole "img id= width=". I was just seeing if that is a glitch of some sort or just a change. Not a big problem, just wondering...
