Data loss more information

On Thursday morning I woke up to find rows had have disappeared (the last 6 months of entries) from the database, I have not encountered this kind of problem before running sites and databases. I have encountered data corruption before but not to this extent.

I used a backup from 3 weeks ago to restore the data, unfortunately more recent backups were not complete.

This is a very sad situation and I am sorry to those who have lost data from this.
