Custom Layouts

The 'Explore Lists' page is a great addition Tom, in typical moaney arse Listal-User fashion, I have a new qualm which I would love to be addressed...that of the layout options.

I for one would love to see more colour options (for the boxes specifically). Id love to be able to pick the box colour way you can pick the background colour, with the 'colourmod' pallet.



I think it would be silly going full 'myspace' in terms of custom-layouts...but some changes are needed to customise the profile layout a bit more.

i'm absolutely against custom layouts, even colors. i'd really like to see a standardized look like for instance in facebook. this makes the browsing of user profiles _so_ much easier on the eyes. also it is way more slick and adds a certain professionalism to the whole site.

Bael,I dont want it anything like Myspace, Im just pushing for a better range of box colours, I love the standardised feeling; but Facebook is a little boring and most people would agree with that, I think.

I think a better range of colours wouldnt detract fromt the fact that boxes are the same shape, content and layout, universally. It just makes it a little more personal.

On a side note, I reckon the Collection Stats box should be restricted to either of the top two boxes (left or right) of a page. I hate having to scroll through someones (usually heavily anime!) profile just to find out whether they have rated something. I mean, Reviews and Lists have a number at the top in the banner so why not make it easier for all by having that at the top only. Having it as an optional for your profile aswell is a wind-up too.

Bael, the Augment, is colour-blind. I think a few more colours would be nice but no patterns! Maybe the boxes could be square aswell...

I'd like to see more customization in 'custom' lists. Not overdone so they end up looking like some people's profile pages, but certain custom lists would work better and be flashier in different colors, thats for sure.

To keep things simple and uniform, maybe a half dozen color CSS templates for list would also work for me.

I don't really like the default profile look and I don't like the limited customization options either, I want to update it soon. It would be nice to have a few default themes that look good

I can see bad points and good points of custom layouts, sometimes I like the simple look of facebook but other times I think it's pretty boring.

I like this idea and it's something I have considered before.

Ratings are on the top, it's just owned/wanted counts that aren't, I didn't want to put these up there because it made it confusing.
