16 years, 11 months ago at Jun 8 22:42 - I really enjoy all the things Listal does, I have enjoyed playing here, but I am looking for the option of cataloging my other collections that have nothing to do with media. Is there a way to do that here and I just don't understand how yet or is there some where else I should be going.
I got to thinking after my Mom died that I would have liked to know why she owned some of the things she did and if I could take a photograph of my belongings (I hate to scrapbook) and make a note on a web site, then it might be available for my daughter someday, or even for insurance if I have a fire. I know there is not guarantee the site won't shut down, but it seems so much more fun than scrap-booking. I have no idea why. Maybe because I don't want any more things around here. :o)

16 years, 10 months ago at Jun 9 17:55 - Currently, Listal doesn't have the option for listing anything outside of the set categories. Ithas been mentioned before and is something that is being looked into.

16 years, 10 months ago at Jun 9 19:06 - I want to add other categories but I will will be one at a time. The next one I want to add is electronics but I'm not sure when this will be.
If you just want to add a photo and and a note you may want to investigate general photo storing sites like flickr, which let you tag items and add titles/descriptions.
