Cross-section Lists?

I think this site is awesome and all of the recent changes are great. I hadn't tried it in a while and after spending some time with it over the weekend, I remembered that it's a bit cumbersome for me because I watch so many documentaries (always on DVD, never on television.) Many aren't on the IMDB and there seems to be no rhyme or reason for how they get split between Movies and TV so it's cumbersome - especially in terms of creating comprehensive lists.
What I wonder is if it would be possible to have Lists that could incorporate stuff from all of the sections? I'd love, for instance, to be able to list all books, movies, television programs, DVDs not listed on IMDB etc. for C.S. Lewis in one list rather than having to have 4 (or 5) separate C.S. Lewis lists. (One list for C.S. Lewis would be much more efficient than a list for C.S. Lewis Books, C.S. Lewis TV Shows, C.S. Lewis Movies, C.S. Lewis DVDs - especially since I'd have to do this with several topics.)

I agree, making lists that contain items from different categories would be great, even for minor issues such as this:
www.listal.com/viewlist/movies/10102
Carry On series, but its missing the two Christmas specials that were aired only on TV. Still, it would be nice to add them to the list.

I agree... Lists linking items across all media for specific themes would be a great idea.

Yup, I agree. That way I could get around to adding Channel 4's 100 greatest cartoons list. ;)
