12 years, 1 month ago at Mar 30 9:34 - I have come across a lot of images in the wrong places, especially in screenshots for example.
This is one of my screenshots taken from a movie without editing/
Then you have images such as these classified as screenshots in the movie section.
and gifs which are clearly not screenshots nor part of the films production photos concept art etc.
What is allowed and what is not allowed because I have come across a lot of croped recolored edited photos which are in the screenshot area. Are gifs allowed, it is annoying trying to find good screenshots only to find fake ones.
Sorry if this topic has been brought up before, I just wanted to know what is allowed and what is not.
P.S Could there be another section in the photos called others because I don't mind some photos and gifs but to me black is black white is white meaning if you look under screenshots you should only find screenshots.

Fan art collages and meme gifs are not allowed.
Tom is in the process of creating a separate gallery for gifs of just movie clips and artwork from noteworthy sources.
As of now, things mis-labled as screencaps that should be production stills, there is nothing us mods can do anything about but hopefully Tom will change that soon.

12 years, 1 month ago at Mar 30 18:44 - The "Cropping Rule" generally refers to reposting a cropped version of an image already in the gallery.
However, even in that case, please feel free to post a cap without the black lines and report the one with black lines. The one with out the black lines is much better :)
