Tom did it somehow with his Posters list.

The new feature is excellent and I agree that the collage view is very cool.

I created a small list of lists just for testing it and I have problem to change the appearance of it. I'm choosing Collage, Standard or Default and I'm getting the same result for all of them.

I have one question to make. What do the other users see on a list of lists when it includes "Public", "Semi Public" and "Private" lists of mine?

I haven't been able to change the appearance on a list in the default mode.

If I create a section I can then change the appearance for that section. Which right now is everything.

In theory other members should only see the Public and Semi Public lists. When I look at your list I only see three lists... listed. If one of them is 'private' I'm not see it or able to visit the list.

If you want to take a look at my list and see if there is a List titled "Favorite Movies of 2013" at the very bottom, then... we might have a problem ;)

None of the lists included on the list in question is "Private", so it's normal that you can see all three of them. I can see the title of the List "Favorite Movies of 2013", but I don't have access to the list if I click on the title.

Well, it seems that I can change the appearance of the list if I go to the "Rearrange & add items" page and change the display mode in the "Edit section" option. I can't do this if I try to change the same thing from the "Edit" page although the list has only one section.

Ah, the fact that you can actually see the list is not good. So guess it would be wise to keep private lists off any Lists of Lists.

If we want to keep some of them in secret, I guess that it would be wise to do this. For now at least!

I've fixed the default view and the 'load more items', working on the private lists now.

I've also added items per page option

I have a problem with a list. I can see that some of the lists included are present two times, but they are appearing only once on the "Rearrange & add items" page.

Ha! Just in case anyone one is interested. Yes, if you delete a list it will no longer show up on your list of lists.

Hey Tom! Loving this new feature so far. I've got one question for you.

At the moment it appears that lists of lists can't be added to other lists of lists. Any chance we could get the Add List button added to lists of lists? As an example, I've recently published my Lists I'm following list & I'd like to add this list of lists to it rather than add all the individual lists it contains.

Well i was looking into converting The Index to the new format and i have 2 problems.

The titles people give to their lists are sometimes bad for a set of similar lists like "my favorite lists". Also common are list titles that have flair or wordiness. I would like to edit the link title please.

#2: I like my one line no picture format like www.listal.com/list/graphic-novel-list-index over Tom's. Can u make that format please?

Is it possible to add a List of Lists to another List of Lists?

I would like to create a master list of all my lists in an easy to view/sort format.

I will add that by the end of the week, I'll also add the one line format and lists of images but not editing of list titles I'm afraid.

i skimmed the comments above, so i hope someone didn't already ask this and i missed it, but is there a way to change the collage images?

i really like how the 3ds and 3do list collages look with the screenshots. the ps3 list also has screenshots in it, but for some reason the collage uses box art instead. i'd like that collage to also have screenshots instead of the box art, if possible.

i'm pretty good at overlooking things at times, so if there's a way to modify it, i very well could have missed it. if there isn't a way to modify it, will there be an option to do so in the future?

also, will we be able to add comments at some point? like if we were to make a list of lists we like here on listal, the ability to write up a few sentences about why we like it next to each list could be neat.

Sections can have comments if you are not using a "favorites" derived list.

Change the default sort to 'default' and the sections will appear.

Noticed that there's now an option to make a list of lists with the collage and a comment. I really like how it was set up, as it looks quite nice. But, there's a little bug with it. The text of the comments continues on outside of the list boundaries and winds up behind the list description and any ads, list suggestions, etc. beneath the description.

Even with this bug, I really enjoy the way the overall look of the collage with comments list was done, so I can only imagine I'd enjoy it even more when said bug is fixed.

Would it be possible to sort a search of one's personal lists based on inclusion in lists of lists?

IE, go HERE and sort by "Listed in list lists"? But you don't have to use those exact words. =P

I was trying to create a 3x3 list of lists, and came up with this surprising behaviour:

1. # creating a 2D list with an overloaded * operator
2. mlist3 = [[0]*3]*3
3. print mlist3 # [[0, 0, 0], [0, 0, 0], [0, 0, 0]]
4. mlist3[0][0] = 1
5. print mlist3 # [[1, 0, 0], [1, 0, 0], [1, 0, 0]] oops!
6. # populate it properly, now it works!
7. mlist3[0] = [7, 12, 23]
8. mlist3[1] = [22, 31, 9]
9. mlist3[2] = [4, 17, 31]
10. print mlist3 # [[7, 12, 23], [22, 31, 9], [4, 17, 31]]
11. mlist3[0][0] = 1
12. print mlist3 # [[1, 12, 23], [22, 31, 9], [4, 17, 31]]

Well it is not only eye opening rather very beneficial for the people those who want to do something good in his life.
