Could it be possible to search for music artist?

When I wanted to add some cd's I have, I would generally look for the artist but just doing that in music only brings up titles with that name in it:

www.listal.com/search/music/1/?query=andrew+bird

Now it is true that another link appears at this page saying "Artist matches found - Would you like to search for products performed by andrew bird ?"

with a link to here:

www.listal.com/search/music/1/?artist=andrew+bird&source=us

What I would like is after the extra R2 DVD search another field saying Music Artist like this:

Movies
TV
DVDs (all)
Books
Music
Games
R1 DVDs
R2 DVDs
Music Artists

or better yet, to expand this idea to other items, let it read like this:

Movies
TV
DVDs (all)
Books
Music
Games
R1 DVDs
R2 DVDs
Movies - Actors
Movies - Directors
DVDs - Actors
DVDs - Directors
TV - Actors
TV - Directors
Books - Authors
Music - Artists

Alternatively Artists and or Actors could be switched to performers.

Btw in terms to clicks there is not much difference in selecting the artist dropdown or having to click through

Assuming you are in the music page :

1. search for andrew bird (2 clicks)
2. click on Andrew Bird (1 click)
3. View results

Or :

1. select artists from the drop down (2 clicks)
2. search for andrew bird (2 clicks)
3. View results

There is actually 1 more click in the second version.

Admitadly if you are in another section having the drop down would save time.

I have change the search results so you get a picture and you can choose to click on the persons profile or search results.

Maybe I should just automatically redirect to the artist search results if a match is found and then give an option to search titles.
