Crysis came out a little while ago and I know a couple that did or wanted to upgrade their computers just to play that game and so the subject was brought up what to buy.

Now that some got their new computers I thought why not get a idea of what computers people have now, even if you didn't just upgrade.

This might be Random Chat but I'm thinking this is more for General Discussion because it was posted here a long while ago and wasn't considered bad.

The only thing I've upgraded to recently was the 8800GT.
And I also have a Logitech G5 mouse and I should switch to it but I'm lazy(It really is a awesome mouse)

I recently have updated my speakers to the Creative Live! Voice Cam and Earphone, when my computer's HD broke.
Before I had ACME Headphones, I don't remember which ones.

Maybe on your computer's guarantee card?

Easiest way I know is to download Everest and go to Computer/Summary

Okay, actually the computer I listed above is the computer in my other house, I forgot some of the things that were there, I hope I'll list them later.

With dxdiag you can only see the CPU and RAM but the rest you can find with Everest

I'm happy with every aspect of my setup, and only thing that's next on upgrade list (though not a priority) is to go from 19" LCD to 22" or bigger widescreen LCD. And maybe better sound/speakers. But I'm riding out with my 939 chip for at least another 2 or 3 years.

And I'm waiting til a computer with one video card can play Crysis on Very High before I upgrade the whole thing.

xpsuser, none of those appear to be gaming rigs, right? the only decent video card is on your slowest rig with smallest monitor.

I just copied that off the sticker on the laptop. :P

I plug it into a Philips stereo with a subwoofer and all for audio.

I've also got a 1TB external hard drive so I'm not concerned about the small hard drive.

Not the best laptop, by no means, but it's fine for my graphic designing, iPod updating, Sims playing, and web surfing.
