11 years, 7 months ago at Sep 20 23:27 - Not so much collector's editions, but I usually wait until games have been out a year or two to get the bundles/special editions. $20-$30 for a title and the first expansion or two is a pretty good deal.
I have been meaning to pick up some of the old Sierra games, like King's Quest and Space Quest series too.

Anyways, the collectors edition I have is Resistance 2, Killzone 3 (Helghast edition), Gears of war 2 and 3 (Epic Edition), Metal Gear Solid 4, Metal Gear Solid Peace walker PSP, Metal Gear Solid HD Collection, Guitar Hero On Tour Nintendo DS System, Star Wars (xbox 360 limited edition), Resident Evil: ORC, Halo Reach, Halo 4(xbox 360 limited edition), and I don't know if the Call of Duty Black Ops II Declassified Playstaion Vita system counts though.

Ni no Kuni Wrath of the White Witch, The Last Story, Kingdom Hearts: Dream Drop Distance, Zelda Skyward Sword, and .hack//link.

The Last Story (not the big one with a ton of extra stuff but the one with the artbook... the recent reprint doesn't have the artbook)
Ni No Kuni (I was able to score the collector's tin case... and this was months after it came out)
Wild Arms 5 10th Anniversary Series (seriously, the artbook and the fact it completes my Wild Arms collection is the only reason I have it... the game was full of things that made me glad the damn series came to an end.)
And lastly I almost purchased the Final Fantasy XII Collector's Edition but opted out at the last moment... freaking glad I did that.

10 years, 2 months ago at Mar 4 17:03 - I have yet to see a real collectors edition I would spend double or even triple the price for.
Maybe if it had a soundtrack, older games in it or something like that. I don't have orgasms over art books or the big cases that take up way too much room on the shelf.
