Do you hear the diference between a 128 and 320 kbps mp3?

Personally I could tell easily but I know some people can't.

P.S. Sorry if this should be in Music.

I got it right. I wish they'd give you that kind of test in clinics. Can you post more of those?

I can't take the test now (at work, no speakers) but from my mp3's, I can easily tell 128 and 320 apart.

160 or 192 vs 320, not so much.

I could hear it even though I am partially deaf in one ear ^^
a curse on all of those aerosol horns but never mind that it's an ok test I doubt my brothers could tell the difference

It generally requires really good speakers to have any audible difference. 128 is plenty for my cheap off the shelf PC speakers, 96 is pushing it, any less and quality suffers.

Oh I pwn this thing. Then again with most music I really don't mind the lower compression, it only really matters when I'm at home and wish to drown myself in epic orchestral pieces.
