At the end of the movie there's this girl on stage an actress I think, someone from the crowd throws her a rose and shoots her.

The only movie that is coming to mind is Selena (1997) but honestly don't remember the movie that well :P

i think Selena was gunned down outside an apartment or motel, no clue about the movie.
