Bug: Uploading of very TALL pictures

Anything can be done to truncate pictures vertically, or limit them in some way?

I had been uploading quite a few DVD spine scans at the time and so this bug was really annoying for me.

I've fixed it for the display pictures page and the main person page, it may still be wrong in other areas though.
