Bug on My Book List: book counter is wrong

It seems like a ghost book was counted but it wasn't shown. Book counter adds up one more extra item.

I notice sometimes counter increases by one when I add a book using its ISBN but the book is not included in the Read list. I have to reinsert the book a second time that causes a new increase.
