bug? change password

Twice I go to Edit Profile and enter my new password, hit the save button, logout, then can only login with the original password.

I'm of the opinion that this should take precedence over adding new features.

The avatar won't change either.

I cannot change password through the Edit Profile section either. Actually would like to cancel account but doesn't seem to be a way to do that either, but at least let me change the password...
