Bug when adding custom entry

When adding a custom entry to the database, the release date is always set to today's date.

What do i have to do to put this in "bugs"?

Well, i thought i'd bump this to the top once more. Doesn't seem to have been noticed.

I would expect everybody who adds books to encounter this bug.
Doesn't it make the custom database less accurate with all those books being published on the same date?

Also, when adding a custom DVD to the database, it doesn't make the actors viable links to lead to the actor's page.

Could we get this fixed please?
