Books, weird stuff

Sometimes I import a book from Amazon.com, which has a cover image on Amazon, but the image is not imported.

Sometimes it's the other way round. I manually create a Listal item for a book which is NOT on Amazon.com/uk/ca... and then, surprisingly, a cover image is automatically added to the Listal item out of the blue! Well, I guess it's from some other Amazon sites: in particular I noticed that for some books which are on Amazon.it but not on Amazon.com/uk/ca.

This happened to me quite often, as well, when I was logging all the books that I own here...no picture. Still, it wasn't too difficult to Google it and add a photo of the cover in most instances.

It is strange though because the cover will show on Amazon.

Yes, that's what I did too, google for the pictures, or sometimes use Amazon's.

Anyway, that glitch happens a lot with music too. You can see an image is there on Amazon's page but it does not show when the item is imported to Listal. Maybe it's something on Amazon's side...(?)

Most likely is, yeah. Another thing I've seen is that when the image does transfer over, sometimes it is small and needs to be replaced with a larger one anyway.
