What book are you reading right now?

I'm sorry to say that I am not reading anything at this point, but the last thing I read was uhhh... what was it's name... I'll post the name when I remember it... (lost the book)

I just finished THE ILIAD by Homer, and now I'm reading BLAZE by Stephen King (as Richard Bachman).

Currently reading two books: Amy Vanderbilt's Guide To Etiquette, and Psychopathia Sexualis (Krafft-Ebing).

I just started reading American Psycho by Bret Easton Ellis....only because I watched the movie....so I figure I might as well read the book also.

Right now Pasolini's Teorema and Cities Of The Red Night by William S. Burroughs, both pretty twisted, and genius at the same time.

I'm currently in the middle of reading my A.R. Book:: The Lilies of the Field.
The book is quite interesting.

I'm in the middle of reading Blade of Fire, which is the sequel to The Cry of the Icemark by Stuart Hill. Very good books, I loved the first one and so far the second is very interesting. :)

The Greatest Traitor: The Life of Sir Roger Mortimer, Ruler of England: 1327-1330
Of course its non-fiction. I'm doing a bit of family tree research, but may take some time, its a huge publication, with tiny print to fit it all in.

The Egyptian by Mika Waltari. It's a highly entertaining historical epic about a doctor called Sinuhe in ancient Egypt. The book has been many times voted to be the greatest Finnish novel of all time.

.

Hm, well, I'm reading Nancy Drew, The Clue in the Antique Trunk. I also have the some of the Hardy Boys books, but I'm not to fond of them.
Also, I'd like to point out...Twilight is way to over rated. Everyone I talk to about it is like "OMG it's like the effin best book and movie I have ever read!" Am I the only one who thinks that Twilight is way to over rated? Or is it just me? Because it's getting very odd being the only one who's not in love with it.

I'm reading Le Grand Meaulnes (The wanderer) by Alain-Fournier. This was Alain-Fournierโ only novel, he died one year later during World War I.

In the Miso Soup by Ryu Murakami. Just finished it about 5 minutes ago, actually.

I just finished "Girl With A Pearl Earring" and the book was quite good I recommend it to people in this thread and that will be in this thread that hasn't read it to read it. A very good book based in the 1600's.

The Hobbit by JRR Tolkien. And I'm planning to read Sense and Sensibility.

Just finished reading "The Traveler" by John Twelve Hawks. Found it interesting enough, so I'll be tracking down the next one (I think it's "Dark River"). Suspect that this "other realm" contacted by the Tabula are really the big bad dudes on level one.
Read John Wyndham's "Trouble With Lichen" a few years back. Suspect it shouldn't be so hard to find a "Day of the Triffids" reprint. Another item added to my list. So little time. Ah well.

Just started reading Nikolai Gogol's Dead Souls, and I'm also enjoying Harpo Marx's autobiography Harpo Speaks! and The Book of Illusions by Paul Auster.

I've fallen prey to the 'Twilight' saga. Not through fault of my own.
I must admit that I now find myself regressing like a giggling school girl, swooning at the image I've created of Edward!
A rather entertaining and captivating easy read.

I'm currently reading "Daja's Book" which is the third book of the Circle of Magic Quartet by Tamora Pierce. It's not the first time, but it's exam time and I don't want to read something I don't know the end to. I might not put it down...
I have an ongoing struggle to read the "Tale of Genji", though. It's a good book but really big and kind of complex... Maybe I'll finish it this year?

The Great Shark Hunt by Hunter S. Thompson. This one truly has just everything in it.

The book "Getting Paid To Keep You In Debt!" by Author JoAnn Pinkney Wilcox is a vital, must have book.

@Bookreader I'm sorry but if you have to read your own book, then you hired one too many Ghost Writers!

History Goes to the Movies by Joseph H. Roquemore. Wow what a fascinating book! It goes into detail about historic movies and what is true about them and what isn't. But before that the author gives an in depth account of what really happened in whatever historical event or person the movie is portraying. The book is 10 years old but I just found it now at my library and it is definitely already one of my favorite books. A MUST for any movie or history buff!!

i saw a book the other day called, "weed, man" and had to read it. instantly.

I'm reading Stephen King's : DARK TOWER - Vol.4 - Wizard and Glass!

Summer reading, I have to read There Eyes Were Watching God. So far (about 4/5 into the book) it has no point, and no plot whatsoever.

I JUST finished The Chronicles Of Vladimir Tod LAST NIGHT. I was hooked on the book! I actually stayed up until about 2:00 am to read it! I couldn't put the book down!! I recommend it for anyone, even though it's for "young readers".

Reading "The Lovely Bones" by Alice Sebold, the one Peter Jackson is making a movie out of. Really good so far. I'm not much of a reader but seeing the preview for the movie made me really wanna see what this was all about.

I am working my way through Cate Tiernan's Wicca series, I could do with the space on my bookshelf, I've read 4 today so only another 9 to go. Before that I read Looking Glass Wars by Frank Beddor and enjoyed it which was a completly unexpected.

Blue Bells of Scotland, a time travel historical adventure, by Laura Vosika

The Woman in white by Wilkie Collins & Interview with the vampire by Anne Rice.

JURASSIC PARK!! For the umpteenth time. It's my favorite novel of all time and I average reading it at least once a year. This time I am reading it with the intent of making a ton of trivia questions for another website I am a member of.
