Book quiz

Mackenzi 11 years, 6 months ago at Oct 11 6:43 -
I found this on tumblr and thought it was cute and very revealing- who wants to answer it?

1 Your favorite book
2 The book that changed your life
3 The book you read again and again
4 The book you love the most (in case you can't pick one favorite)
5 The book that made you who you are
6 The best book you ever read
7 The book that makes you cry (or emotional) every time

for me:

1 Horton Hears a Who! by Dr. Seuss
2 When You are Engulfed in Flames by David Sedaris
3 The Shining by Stephen King
4 The Last Battle by C.S. Lewis
5 Where the Sidewalk Ends by Shel Silverstein
6 The Shadow of the Wind by Carlos Ruiz Zafon
7 The Polar Express by Chris Van Allsberg

1. Ulysses by James Joyce
2. Lolita by Vladimir Nabokov
3. Ulysses (only excerpts, though; I've read its entirety but once)
4. Ulysses
5. The Sound and the Fury by William Faulkner, or Ulysses
6. Ulysses, though Gravity's Rainbow by Thomas Pynchon poses fierce competition, along with Kafka's The Trial and Faulkner's The Sound and the Fury, perhaps (I think if the former were complete it would have been the finest novel ever written)
7. N/A

Screw it, I'm going to use this excess of spare time to satiate my ego at the reaffirmation of my awesome taste

1. JR and The Recognitions by William Gaddis
2. Molloy by Samuel Becket
3. Ulysses and Finnean's Wake by James Joyce (in excerpts, that is)
4. I love JR and The Recognitions is equal part
5. The Recognitions by William Gadddis
6. Assuming Gaddis had never set pen to paper, Demons by Fyodor Dostoevsky Dostoevsky or the Setting Sun by Osamu Dazai
7. Catch 22 by Joseph Heller (tears of laughter)
