Block User?

Hello - is it possible to block a user? If not is that an option in the near future?

Block someone so they can't comment on your profile/pics or see your existence? What do you mean?

Moderators have option to put a BLOCK on certain members or spam accounts. But a regular user can't block another regular user.

If you have a specific issue with someone else and can't resolve it with them, please send a personal message to either Tom or one of the moderators such as myself, GemLil or Voxy.

A block function is planned to be released this month.

about the block feature, when someone is blocked, does all their posted and voted on items NOT show up in my home page of 'recently promoted items'? Would be nice if it did, so that person's images which some may find too sleazy, or maybe a reviewer you generally dislike, would no longer pollute the 'recently promoted' page.

The block function is only intended to stop people posting on your stuff or contacting you.

I don't want to add options to hide content from certain people because I think it would slow down the site too much if people start adding hundreds of people to the list.

The new Facebook has an intersting concept, where you can view less from some of your friends, and more from others. But you're right, it may quite possibly slow the site down for no real benefit.
