Blatant Defaming of Character

A guy named "Johanlefourbe" has posted a nasty list, in which he blatantly defames several people, myself included. I asked him politely, several times, to remove my face from this list, which he spitefully posted at the top of the list. He told me to "fuck off," and that he could "do whatever he wished on this site." What disturbed me even more, is the massive support he received from other members on here. So, I eventually got angry, and posted some mean" replies on his comment section, but it was only because he refused to take my picture down. I have noticed this user you speak of does seem like he owns the damn site, it's rather obnoxious.

I understand how someone wouldn't appreciate a list note putting his or her past activity on the site on display as satire; but when you (harleysdaddy) defend Charles Manson as innocent, post pictures of Muhammad, and title a list as including those of a specific ethnicity who "Actually Have Talent", you must understand you weird a lot of people out - and kind of do a number on your character without anyone else even needing to lend their services.

I'm curious as to how you can be surprised when such activity ends up putting you in a negative spotlight in a community?

Gah, it is bad enough that we get such classy comments on lists like "You liked that film. You must have been dropped on the head and smoke crack. Are you writing your movie reviews from an mental institution! If not then you should be locked up and never allowed to talk smack about 'Toy Story 2'. You soulless monster"

I think we can cut back a little on the hate. I have made and deleted my "hate lists" because I don't think that is something that needs any encouragement. There is plenty of smack talk on this site to go around.

Tho I think a list of all the troll comments might be interesting. You know the people who log in say something nasty and then delete their account. Who are those people? It is a lot of effort to go to to just be a spineless e-thug.

So, yes. PK please think of me smack you as a caring and supportive.

EDIT: And with that, I think this is a good place to close the thread. johanlefourbe's list has been taken off, as have "John Doe"'s. Thus the thread and my post in response to it don't serve much pastrami - I mean tapioca pudding - I mean, fried frog phalanx - I mean - oh never mind!

Please consider the cause-and-effect when you make comments, folks. I'm sure Robin did something pretty bad in the panel preceding what's posted above.
