Blank boxes instead of item pictures

I'm seeing blank boxes instead of item pictures of DVD/book/album covers, randomly. When I go to the item page, there is no picture in place so I have to upload jpg links to the items myself. The problem is these items already had pictures before, but they've disappeared for some reason. Anyone else seeing this problem?

Which ones are missing?

There used to be a photo of a red boxset, but now there's no photo. Its a grey blank box on my collection page, and on the item page itself there's no photo at all.

EDIT: Maybe some of the url links for the photos ended up broken, i.e - photos were removed, etc? However its too much of a coincidence for a whole bunch of item photos to go missing all at the same time. Still, I'll try and upload photos directly instead of providing url links from now on.

Was it by any chance already the default image? If so then maybe it's Amazon's fault? I just noticed the default image had changed for one of my books and I had to upload the old one. Perhaps they're updating product images or something?

Other than that I noticed a few of the pictures for my movies disapeared the other day, but they appeared again a few hours later.

I cleared the old amazon image cache as it was getting too big. This means some of the images have changed, hopefully not too many and hopefully some of the changed images are better now.

In the case of that dvd it doesn't have any 'official' amazon images and only has customer images which is why no image comes up. There may be some way of getting the customer images from amazon but I'm not sure if they support that. Not sure why there was an image before because retrieving the customer images has never worked.
