I'd love to get my hands on Wii. All stores around here have PS3 collecting dust on the shelves, yet Wii consoles are fought over. We can see who the champ in next gen consoles is. LOL. Sony, go suck it.

Agree the fucking Sony believe they could crush Nintendo!
Here in Sweden the Wii sold out the 2 first days, Its the champion!

Dude, when we got the Wii, there was like 20 or something Wiis, and then three PS3s. LOL. Pwned, Sony!

Anyway, on to the topic, the best game is definately twilight princess. I mean there's not even a close second.

Have yall played Wario Ware Smooth Moves?

damnit! it's near end of April, and i STILL CAN'T FIND ONE F**KIN' WII SYSTEM LOCALLY!!!

ok, i knew Wii would be a hit, but come on, TAPER OFF already so i can buy one! lol

of course, there's a hundred WII scalpers on ebay, buying all the shipments that come into stores, and selling them at 50% markups. there should be a law against obvious 'scalpers' on there.

I'm tempted to go option #2: a used Gamecube on ebay. For under $75, I could get a gamecube + 10 games + 4 controllers and memory cards.

but... I STILL WANT THE WII!!! (regular retail price, though)

Get the cube stuff anyway - it'll all work with the Wii when you can get one, and looks a damn decent price. Best stuff I've played would be Zelda and Bomberman '93. (Not kidding!) That said, I've not been playing too much recently.

Get the Wii, man. Then just buy a few GC controllers, and you've got yourself a Wii and a GC.

Yeah, we had to go really early in the morning to get our Wii.

I figured what Phil said, if i get a super cheap GC with lots of games, i can carry them on to a Wii in the future, when i finally get the Wii.
DefenderOfKnowledge 18 years ago at Apr 20 19:53 -
but then what do you do with the GC?

And what games are you getting? Make sure you get SSB.

More to the point - if my maths is right, that works out at ยฃ35 for the lot. If bought separately and new you're looking at about ยฃ40-60 for the pads, another tenner for a card and ยฃ300 for the games.

Even though you're talking second hand and probably won't use the cube for too long, that's fantastic value. You're pretty much made money just on the controllers, let along the games. As for the cube itself, you can always trade it in, give it to a mate, eBay it or whatever in a few months time.

True. Phil is right.
