I'm sorry, but telling you to write like a semi-intelligent person is not exactly a demanding request, and this indecipherable shit that you apparently consider to be English is not fucking acceptable if you intend to interact with people.

You say you "write intelligent", but you clearly don't. "nd" isn't a word, and "nd i know i write intelligent" isn't even a proper sentence. "I know I write intelligently" is. "wat ever" isn't a word. "Whatever" is. "Dat" isn't a word either.

In other words, get a dictionary and pay more attention in class instead of having your friends harass me with messages and comments on my wall.

I blame the cell phones. Texting has turned lots of people into awful spellers. Nobody's a perfect linguist, but you can really pick out people who text too much because their spelling is usually totally fucked. I saw in the news the other day a bit about a girl who got carpal tunnel syndrome from texting. What the fuck is that about?

I mostly blame the anti-intellectual bent that permeates this country. Far too many people seem absolutely committed the idea that being articulate and thinking critically are bad things, or some kind of representation of the bourgeoisie.

That might have held water prior to the 1800's, but that whole "printing press" idea really caught on with people.

B2T: My favorite first-person shooter is Counter Strike 1.6, definetly. To be honest I'm not a fan of shooters and don't think that I like any other game of this genre.. But maybe I just can't remember any.^^

I think my favorite first person shooter would have to be Bioshock. I love the atmosphere and storyline of that game. The weapons that you can use are so much fun, especially your plasmids. My favorites were the electric and winter blast. You could shock the splicers, ice them, then beat them into pieces. Quality fun-age right there!

Bioshock:
Since it is quite bloody good story and a fantastic plot turn near the end. It is a great game for the Environment, one of the best ever. In my view, the use of plasmids was successful and it was an excellent idea for game makers.

Above all CoD is the best in my opinion !!

I used to be really into Perfect Dark a good few years back, as well as the Metroid: Prime Hunters: First Hunt when the Nintendo DS first came out. And, if it counts, F-14 Tomcat is one of my all-time favorite games.

I'll admit, probably not the right way to go about it. The real problem here is with the "OP" (original post). If someone wants to create another thread on first person shooters with more care (not me - I'm not big on the genre), I'll be happy to lock this one up.

I'm going to go ahead and lock this one as about half of the posts are devoted to a different subject, and I think most of you guys will agree that this topic deserves a reboot without spelling/grammar mistakes. If anyone out there chooses to create another thread on this topic, that'll become the new go-to thread for discussions of first person shooters (which I know have a massive following).
