Recommend any blu-rays, anyone?
I've got some recommendations for you.

My top 10 that I own are:
1. Up
2. Lord Of The Rings trilogy
3. Coraline
4. Pinocchio
5. Psycho
6. Toy Story
7. Avatar
8. The Nightmare Before Christmas
9. Monsters, Inc.
10. Alice In Wonderland

Basically animated and heavy on visual effects movies. Older action movies like James Bond also look amazingly better on Blue Ray, at least I notice a bigger difference in those..

Most blu-rays available today are "digitally remastered" garbage. The only ones really worth owning are new-ish movies either shot digitally or older movies with new (HD) transfers from the film original. Both types seem to be in the minority right now.
