Based On Field / Character Pages

1) In addition to fields like "Preceded By" and "Succeeded By" for series, it would be cool to be able to have a field called "Based On" for movies where you can enter the Listal URL for a book, video game or TV show. Maybe other platforms can have Based On fields as well, like video games based on a movie etc.

2) It would be awesome to have Listal pages for characters in movies and TV shows, so they can be list-able!

Mostly, people list actors/actresses or movies when they want to do a characters list. I think it'd be much better to have full-blown Characters lists, especially for cartoon characters or for listing multiple characters by the same actor/actress.

I'm curious to know if anyone else thinks this could be potentially useful.

I would like to do this, the characters could be added to books as well, I noticed some characters have already been added to listal e.g. www.listal.com/person/lara-croft

Returning to the fields thing, here are ones I and I know 100% for sure others would love for video games:

-Alternate titles for different regions
-Alternate release dates for different regions
-Genre
-Developer
-Publisher
-Series
-Playable Character(s)
-Re-releases (with links to the re-releases' item pages)

As long as these are included, I think tags which are identical to one of these fields' entries should be hidden from the tags display. It'd be nice to have the general stuff like "platformer" or "2D" out of the way.

Were these fields in place, and should the Listal community rise to the challenge, we could make this place somewhere you don't have to leave for viewing game information!
