banner ads blocking image upload in Books

I have been trying to upload a book cover image but the banner ads that are usually on the far left of the page are coming up over the area used to upload images. Can this please be fixed?

I am still seeing this problem and now the ads also block the edit item pages. Can this be corrected? (I think it has something to do with the blank image size that is used when there is no actual image associated with the item - if the blank space were smaller, it might allow the ad to stay closer to the page margin.)
