Tool has some very great riffs and melodies. lateralus for example.
Korn is a very strange kind of music (sorry), but I like it anyways.
But when I'm sad I'm listening to Pink floyd. They calm me down and give me new and different perspectives in life only by listening to their melodies . I don't listen to their lyrics often. their guitars and keyboard are like waves. they take me far away...

12 years ago at Apr 19 16:36 - sometimes I like to listen to ambient or classical music (Brian Eno, Kitaro, Vangelis) and just let my feelings wash away...other times I like to feed and amplify it by listening to heavy noisy stuff (Joy Division, Sisters Of Mercy)
