Authors on custom items messing up

I cannot find the original thread about this, which is weird...

I've been adding a couple of custom books and all was fine until my most recent entry started showing little symbols infront of a lot of the names:

Quite disappointed because it took me a while to make sure I found each author and copied it exactly right. Bah! I'm not adding the similar items until I know this won't happen again.

It's a general thing. Happened to me with cast members on recent DVD entries and albums as well.

I have fixed this now although old entries are still affected I can fix them if you post in here as long as there are not loads of them!

Otherwise editing of items is a high priority

Personally, I'm happy to wait until editing's available - I know which items need doing, so I can just go back and do them myself :)
