Audio books, yay or nay?

Just curious!
Sometimes it's hard for me to get into the narration, it's a lot different hearing someone read a book to you, instead of listening to the voices in your head as you read to yourself.
But they're useful when you can't actually read, like when driving or working.
Thoughts?

Nay

Yay, tho it depends on the book. I read a lot of poetry and actually prefer to hear it read out loud. I really like listenting to radio shows if I'm knitting or doing some other craft project.

Actually sometimes if the narration is good then audio books are tolerable.

Certainly audio books are helpful in getting you through a book, or series of books quicker. However, when I read I tend to get invested in said book much much more. Then there are those scenes in a book that you have to read over again because they are so incredible or unbelievable. Trying to do that with an audio book takes you out of the moment and the scene loses all it's power.
So, I'd vote nay.
