I think assasins creed is better story/campaign modes but, Halo has better multiplayer at least in my book

Hmm it's kinda hard to decide because they are two very different games in many aspects.
Halo definitely focalises more on the multiplayer while AC strongly emphasize its single player.
I like both multiplayers, but as inventive as the AC MP is I still prefer the good old shooting style in Halo. But I adore the plot, setting and overall atmosphere in the AC games.

So I think it depends on what you are in the mood for. Experiencing a historical and riveting story or shooting yourself though fictional planets.
Both are great games in their own respectable genres.

I agree with Kami-chan, they are two completely different games. I've played Halo, Halo 3, Assassin's Creed, and Assassin's Creed 3. They are all good games, in my opinion. I prefer the Assaasin's Creed series though because of the style of gameplay. The historical element to the game makes it even more interesting.

I'm probably the last person that should be commenting on this as I've never played a game in either series but I personally hate when people make comparisons like this.

From what I've gathered aren't these games a bit different from one other? The whole idea of pitting them against one another is kind of a fools errand to me... it be like comparing a rom-com to a slasher movie. Doesn't Assassins Creed have more methodical game play than Halo in that you set up kills instead of hauling off and dealing with things that just fly right in your face?

I mean I'm all for comparisons... I remember the endless Mortal Kombat 3 vs Killer Instinct *arguments* my friends had back in grade school but those two games are much more comparable than these two in my opinion.

And to this day I still think Killer Instinct wins despite the fatalities sucking.
