Why not just include films in which they played characters, as listed on IMDB? I don't believe movies or TV programs that show clips from their original movies should count.
When you're tracking how many movies you've seen an actor or actress in, the number isn't entirely accurate when archive footage is counted.
I think there should be a clean-up of actor and actress profiles. In the process, movies and TV programs with archive footage should be removed. The movies under each filmography should be the same ones you'd see under "filmography - actor (or actress)" on IMDB.
