Antoine Dodson is an American hero

I am sick of people marginalizing what he did. He saved his sister (and possibly his niece) from being raped.
He doesn't belong on a list with talentless hacks (Caitlin Upton) and criminals (Colton Harris-Moore)

Even the WORDING used just tries to discredit him and deflect from what happened. It is so disgusting to me.
Whether you like him or not, give him credit for what he did.

Meh, Stanislav Petrov is a hero not any of those idiots.

Again, one does not have to like Antoine Dodson to give him the credit he deserves.
He is not an idiot; why do you refer to him in that manner? Because he was in a heightened state of distress/annoyedness/whatever (for want of a better word) after he pulled an unsavory individual who was using deadly force off of his siter? His sister was struggling with her would-be rapist to the point that she broke and knocked over many things in her bedroom.
Again, he saved his sister (and possibly his niece) from being raped. That does, indeed, make him a hero.
*edit* Regarding Stanislav Petrov: yes, there are many heroes. It is unnecessary for an individual to deny one person's hero status just to make another's more apparent.
