Do you mean you like Wolves & Panthers a lot or you like animals 'like' them?

My favourite animal is the Giant Anteater.

ooh I like this thread....my favourite animals is 'The Crab'

I love their little eyes and big claws, I can sense when there is a crab around. My record for crabbing is 200 caught in 1 hour. This particular crab seems to be a nazi. No big loss to the Jewish I'd imagine, they cant eat shelfish.

My second favourite is the Mandrill. Heres one of the little fellas:

I've always been a sucker for the Snow Leopard (Uncia uncia)

I always had a soft spot for lizards. Anything that literally has to 'chill out' to survive is a big plus for me.

Then there's axolotls. How else would we learn genetics!

Heheheh, look at him, little fella!

I also admire really powerful horses.

Oooh. The axolotl is soo cuute.

Normally I'd put a panda or something else fluffy but I'm not in a fluffy mood today.

Today I learned what a nudibranch was and since then I have been hopelessly fascinated by these beautiful creatures. Plus their variations will never cease to amaze me. Or maybe I just really like saying nudibranch.

Ever since I was informed of the sham that is the existence of unicorns, I've taken to the "unicorn of the sea".

Good ol' narwhals. They're just so damn cute.
Deleted user
Deleted 16 years, 11 months ago at May 29 2:36 -
UNICORNS ARE REAL! Blasphemy. It's all blasphemy.
My uncle saw one once during a hunting trip and he'd never lie to such an unsuspecting soul such as I.

Narwhals may be cute alright but REAL UNICORNS are even cuter!!!
spiegel 16 years, 11 months ago at May 29 2:53 -
LIES! Your unicorns existed about as much as the dinosaurs did. Because we all know there were never any dinosaurs. The government made them up to cover up 9/11. It's the truth. I read it on teh intranets.

You lie! Dinosaurs exist! I read somewhere that some guy named George slayed one! And what about Raptor Jesus!? He is of internet descent, do you dare suggest that he would bow down to serve governmental affairs? I think not!

You're both talking fairy tales.

A. I've only seen one unicorn in my personal experience, if a rhinoceros with an impaled equine hooked to its nasal counts. I've had the kind acquaintance of a number of real blue smurfs, however.

B. The government never existed. The people created them to cover up social strain.

Anyhow..

Got four of these at home:

As well as seven of these:

Wow, I thought this thread would have dropped like a lead balloon. Why can't you just fuck off VV (Chrono)? You haven't added anything to the thread, why hasn't his useless comments been deleted?

Bar the Giant Anteater (which trumps the Tamandua, sorry Bael), I'm a big fan of obscure placental mammals. Namely:

The Pangolin

The Aardvark

The Sloth (Either toed version is fine.)

Everyone knows society is a myth. Where have you seen one? I got more faith in this fella showing up at my door.

@Gunza Blazin: it's funny, i love all the animals belonging to the superorder xenarthra too (thought i was the only one, most folks don't like them). although they are very different, all of them are just too adorable.

p.s.: _nothing_ beats a baby tamandua, not even a combed and washed giant anteater ;).
Moderator
Seaworth 16 years, 11 months ago at May 29 10:01 -
Its actually Edentata that encompasses all those fellas (Anteaters, Sloths, Aardvarks, Pangolins, Armadillos etc.) but it is no longer a viable class because the Pangolin and Aardvark are too distantly related. Hence the Xenarthera order. The Ground Sloth was also an armoured hero of its day before its extinction!

I bet a Tamandua couldn't fend off a Jaguar. (H)

Bael 16 years, 11 months ago at May 29 10:21 -
i know, that's why i used the xenarthra group. the ground sloth is quite ugly as much as reconstructions go (nothing like it's descendants). it looks like a mixture between a bear and a beaver...

sure the tamandua could fend off the jaguar: by sheer cuteness. nothing can withstand the puppyeyes of DOOM! that's something your giant ant eater has yet to prove ;).
Moderator
Seaworth 16 years, 11 months ago at May 29 10:36 -
Soz I meant that Xenarthra only includes Anteaters, Sloths and 'dillos these days!

Yeah, they are bear-like appearance, have lop-sided stature and chainmail skeletal structure made it a perfect war machine that the Edentata's needed. If that unofficial group were a fictional army they'd be the Mermadons (Y).

G. Anteater can just stand up and claw at those mutha Jags! Tamandua is just a glorified tenrec!

I'm fond of guinea pigs and anything rodent-ish.

I also like sharks. My favourite kind of shark is the Great White.
