I am looking for a decent comedy

Can anyone recommend a non douchy one?

Um...Give me a sec, I KNOW I've seen one recently...
Ah! Have you seen Yes Man? It's funny, but don't watch it if you don't like romantic comedy..
You could also watch the movies where comedians go on stage and do jokes, if all else fails.

Stand up comedians I own a large selection of those ranging from bill bailey to jack dee to lee evans my favourite of all time.

Cool, I don't have many stand-up comedian films or shows, I don't watch movies or TV very much. I'm one of those people who are constantly active, but when I do watch movies, I keep it to horror or comedy.
But that's off topic!!!!
I think I thought of another comedy..
If you haven't already (because most people have, except me- I'm like a movie hermit x.x) you could watch Paul Blart: Mall Cop, it's supposed to come out in a few days.
But then, you've probably watched that in the theaters.

Yeah I did wasn't as funny as I'd hoped.

Heh, a lot of movies are like that - built up to something really good, and then a total dissapointment..
Ehh, sorry, but I'm out of suggestions :/ So I shall stop posting because it can then be considered off-topic and spam...

My friend told me about that one I'm definitely going to check it out thanks.

look on my profile and ull see it its the best comedy ever

Bad Santa. Or Badder Santa I should say. The original is like a totally different movie.

Did you see 'Forgetting Sarah Marshall' yet? One of the greatest comedies in past few years, by far.
Deleted user

No not yet I'll give it a look in.

Comedy is not even remotely my genre, unfortunately. However, I quite enjoyed Harold and Kumar Go to White Castle. Surprising, since I generally loathe pothead-type comedies.
Foul Play is a pretty amusing older comedy. But then, the last time I watched it was about 8 years ago so.

Try Bill Hicks and Jimmy Carr from Stand-up part.

Will do I haven't seen that yet.

Richard Pryor: Live in Concert (1979) is probably the funniest stand-up performance ever filmed.

Richard pryor?

Richard Pryor
You've seriously never heard of him?
clerks. Mostly subtle humor
The History of the World: Part 1 and 2 just for the hell of it
The Gods Must be Crazy

Mamma Mia! Are Bruce Almighty ! lol thats funni !!! blazzing saddles !!!

Burn After Reading, Bruce Almighty, Liar Liar, Wedding Crashers?
Deleted user

Mamma mia doesn't appeal to me it's all about a 50 year old slag who doesn't know who her daughters father is.

Hot Fuzz (2007) is probably one of the best comedies I've seen in a long time. Some of my old favorites are Raising Arizona (1987), Bowfinger (1999) and The Party (1968).

Borat I've seen along with hot fuzz the others hell yeah i'll check em out.

Blues Brothers is a classic if you've never seen it.

It is kind of old but I would see it anytime..Love actually:D To me it was more comedy than drama.

I think Charles Chaplin's comedies are pretty decent.
All of them are great and funny.
"Modern Times" and "The Circus" were the funniest I've watched.

Dirty work, Wet Hot American Summer, and either of the Dave Chappelle standup specials will make you laugh quite a bit.

For me (and for a lot of friends of mine), a great comedy movie to watch is "Some Like It Hot". Ok, itยดs from 1959, but I swear itยดs absolutely great. Even more if you like Marilyn Monroe, wich makes this movie particularly a great piece of art!

Looking for a decent comedy movie, Here are movies list please try
A Day Without A Mexican
A Knight's Tale
All Of Me - Steve Martin and Lily Tomlin
Are We There Yet?

Your movie selections suck Jacob Wilson. Stupid sockpuppet.

The Best Hollywood comedies were made in the 30's and 40's. There's a ton of great stuff from that era that you propably haven't seen yet. Try anything by Howard Hawks, Preston Sturges or Leo McCarey.
