Alien Species outside of our Solar Galaxy
Deleted user

Is there any one who believes that there is an alien species outside of our solar galxay, I saw an educational vid about how scientists have sent a radio message to the stars for an "inviation" for other sentinent beings to come to earth.

If there are other beings out there, I pray they are A) either smart enough to STAY AWAY from humans(Or too stupid to realize they're being invited) or B) That they are NOT advanced species who LIKE to blow things up

Well when you consider the vastness of the universe there probably is a species but the thing is why would they give a crap about us why would they come here so the americans can freak out and try blowing them up?

Vincent, I think you may be stereotyping Americans, for not all Americans freak out and try to explode everything.
I do think that alien species exist. Our universe is so vast and what we know doesn't even scratch the surface. Perhaps they are advanced, perhaps they are not. I think that the most people have an irrational fear of Extra Terrestrials is because of the many movies released on the subject. Then again, it may not be irrational. What if 'they' have the same fears?

Oh in the 1980's they had pictures of nuclear explosions similar to that of incredibly strong nuclear bombs in space which means there could well be wars going on out there.
I'm not stereotyping it was a joke you asshat.

Futile attempt at an insult. I only assumed you were stereotyping, for there are several sentences relating to Americans like the one you posted above my first post. I do not wish to start an argument, I was merely pointing something out.
There have been signs of alien life, and humans tend to be very curious, so we will never stop searching for signs of life. Over time, we will extend farther into the galaxy. One wonders if there is an end to the universe. Does it just stop abruptly, or is it unceasing? If it has an end...where is the beginning?

It is increasing in size as the mass of dark matter isn't enough to slow it down.
Just shut up saying stuff about insults seriously you're starting to get annoying.
The universe is apparantly an oval shape if we go along with string theory it is a 2-d shape.

Yes we have sent a probe with a gold welcome card on-board, we also sent a radio signal - which has since been stopped. But don't worry, chance of anyone getting our message in a bottle, understanding it, and then being capable of getting to Earth quickly is highly unlikely.
To answer your question, yes I believe that there is life out there. In my experience life flourishes in all manner of places given half a chance. There are countless Earth-like planets out there in a vast and expanding universe, in addition there are countless planets that might also support a different type of life to what we know or understand.

I'm actually waiting for someone to come in and provide a negative comment to all this, I'm surprised no one hasn't...
I fear for the safety of that life if we do ever find it, humans are a rather selfish creature(Think Darwinism, or something like it) If we find life, we're gunna go there and take over,
My thoughts if somehow all of these lifeforms were to meet, we'd either be the superior planet crushers destroying everything without so much as a second glance, or we'd be the little self conceited nuisances that are too little of a threat for the other lifeforms to waist their breath on (I'm Cynical, :D)

It's clear that if they can do inter-stellar travel they will be ahead of us in technologies and just wipe us all out with a bio-chemical warfare

:P We wouldn't feel a thing lol, we'd be dead before we realized what hit us then
Deleted user

Yep lol or they'd use us in a zoo or something and we'd be totaly oblivious to it.

I'm hopeful, if they are that far advanced they'll see humans as being 'very immature' and might just put us all into a galactic nursery, for us to learn the basics. It may take us a long time to realise this of course, at first we'll just think they are sharing their advanced technology, but the clues will be there, such as rounded edges on the personal quark manipulator.

i do believe that there is another species out there, in fact they might be living among us.

Yeah, they're called women.
(Yes, I found that joke in my grandfather's closet. Found grandpa in there, too, a few years later. Poor grandma.)
