Additions welcome for this list - Literature-inspired Gamed

www.listal.com/list/literatureinspired-games
I'm making a list of games that are based on, or who's plot is heavily influenced by books.
In case of famous novels like Dracula and Lord of the Rings, I'm only going to add games that stay fairly close to the book, and not veer drastically off the plot.
Suggestions are welcome, this list is gonna take a while to complete.

Dune comes to mind rightway. I think they just made PC games from the book(s).
Dungeon's and Dragons as well.

I believe a Call of Cthlulhu game was made a while back (I don't remember the exact title). Anyways, it's based on the the mythos from the Lovecraft story of the same name.

The Shin Megami Tensei games are based upon novels by Aya Nishitani. I think Digital Devil Monogatari: Megami Tensei is the only one that could be considered fairly true to the books, though.

There are a couple of PC games based on Terry Pratchett's Discworld series of books, and obviously American McGee's Alice is based on Alice in Wonderland.

There are a couple of Blade Runner games out there, that are based on the film... which is based on Do Androids Dream of Electric sheep by Philip K. Dick. Might be a stretch but...

Thanks everyone. Recovering from New Years, will add more to the list shortly ;)
oh, and HAPPY NEW YEAR everyone!
let 2009 be Listal's breakout year.

You're recovering from New Year!?, I have a black eye and a broken toe!
Anyway moving on, www.listal.com/game/sherlock-holmes-awakened- this is based on the Sherlock Holmes series, as is this: www.listal.com/game/sherlock-holmes-mystery-mummy-30271 . They're both moderately O.K point and click, puzzle/mystery games.

I have a bruised rib and threw up all my guts ;)

Don't make me send your thread off course with outlandish ailment braggin' ! I'll always win. Met some Americans at New Year, came to the conclusion that they're no fun at all.

you guys are way off subject.

The Riftwar Games, which were based on the Riftwar Saga by Raymond E Feist:
Betrayal at Krondor
and
Return to Krondor
All the Harry Potter games, including the Quidditch World Cup game.
Companions of Xanth, based on Piers Anthony's Xanth series
Return of the Phantom
That's all I've got.

Added Xanth, Krondor games, Blade Runner, Call of Cthulhu games, and Dune. Going to add the Sherlock Holmes and a few others mentioned shortly, as well as another one I discovered 'I have no mouth and I must scream'. Thanks for all mentions, everyone.
About American McGee's Alice, I'm not sure about adding that one, as its a dark much-more-sinister version of Alice in Wonderland and takes place after Alice loses her mind after her first two adventures that occur in the book. But I love that game, so might give it an honorable mention.
