Adding new people

I decided to post this question cause sincve several times
I find very hard to add new people, or artist, singer or wathever...
Before i use to put in the search topic-all in the right upper page and the new artist (if not found on Listal database) will simply appear..Now this don't happen anymore..
My question is: How to add new people??
Something change or there is a bug on this site????

I keep having some problem with this as well. If I search by the category people, and click to manually enter a "product" it directs me back to the main page.

I found howeber that if I want to add an artist, I can simply add something they've made and they'll get a page as well.

For instance, yesterday, I wanted to add an artist called Richard Walters to a list, but he doesn't exist on Listal, so I searched for one of his albums, which I found on Amazon. I could then add the album (I think I had to mark that I owned, or heard it, or something...), which automatically added him as well.

I also wanted to an someone named Nina Nesbitt. I couldn't find any of her music on amazon, but added them manually (it works in the music category at least), which also made a page for her...

There should be an easier way that this, but hope this helps for now :)

If you want to add someone you have to click the 'Filter: people' option on the right of the search

When you say it doesn't work what happens when you enter a name and click 'Add person'? Please let me know the name you are trying to enter.

@TimeBomb: You may think it does not work because it says

"Page not found"
"We could not find the page you were looking for"


but then, under it, you are asked

"Do you want to add a page for this person?"

You can enter a name in the blank field, and add it to the database by clicking Add person.

I agree with the OP, it works fine. Just put the name of the person you want to add in the search field. Then, click on 'People' and then completely underneath the page, you have the option to add someone new. Or you can use the link provided by Tom which works fine as well.

Hum, when I try to add a new person. I get the message:

Nick Ayler has been added here (Close)

I click on 'here' and I get the message:

Deleted. This page has been deleted

Is it safe to assume that this person can't be added? I know that there is at least one model who contacted Listal and asked to be removed. I tried this in Internet Explorer and Firefox.

I make my part in this discussion say this link almost 100% of the times never works!!

For those who can't get to add a new person, try this:

1. go www.listal.com/actors

2. select "People" in the list on the right-hand side (default is Movies).

3. Write the name of the person in the search window.

4. Click on the "All" button (or press the Enter key on your keyboard).

5. If the person is not on Listal, you should see the "No search results for ..." page.
Scroll it down to the bottom where it says
"Do you want to add a page for this person?".
and hit the Add Person button.

Of course, doublecheck that you typed the name correctly before adding it! :)

P.s. You can start from other Listal pages too, other than
www.listal.com/actors
The important thing is that you use the Search window to search for People.

If a name doesn't add please post the name you are trying to add here and exactly what happens when you click the add person button.

What about people with the same name? I've tried the suggested ways to add them, but I get another person's profile.

What is the name you are having problems with?
Actors with the same name have a roman numeral which is automatically added by the system when you import a movie from IMDb.

I have really important problem with that, where should i write?
