Adding items not-available in Amazon.com or IMDb

Hello, not sure if this topic has been announced yet (million times I guess since this is my 1st post to actual forums).
Anyway, I have met a problem which I think most foreign language users are facing. For example on books, you canโt add the corresponding version of what you have read because most likely it is not in Amazon as it is mostly serving English, French, Japanese and German (did I forget some language it is on) speaking customers. Thus for example Books in Finnish or Russian are completely forgotten. Not sure what would be reliable solution to this problem but I am sure somebody (calling for the aid of community) will come up with something. Maybe there is some kind of ISBN-database somewhere or sth...
Also you could add more databases from which you can add CDโs (and why not other items), for example Encyclopaedia Metallum (www.metal-archives.com) is one helluva large database for metal music and I am sure there are large databases for other kinds of musics aswell, that I am not aware of. Why not use those if you are already taking advance of the ever-fascinating database of IMDb?

Books are one of the few items that you can still add manually to the database
www.listal.com/addcustom/books
Most of the databases for books I use are in English so I can generally find some type of ISBN number for anything that isn't listed on Amazon.
You can also add custom CD
www.listal.com/addcustom/music
One of the few things that you can't custom add is TV shows and Movies. There had been some issues in the past with too many duplicates and merging items is a rather painful process.
The current standard 'work-around' to this is adding custom DVD's
www.listal.com/addcustom/dvds
Perhaps in the future there can be an easier way to suggest adding shows to the data base that are not on IMDb but for now that is the best solution.
