"Add to favourites" not available for DVDs?

Is this a bug or a feature? ;-) "Movies" are basically those I watched in the cinema, and not on TV or DVD/VHS, right?
I had been looking for the "add to favourites" functionality, after the discussion on how to gather points. Hm --where is it? Today I entered my first "Movie" (which is in fact a classic from 1959, but I watched it on TV): www.listal.com/movie/on-the-beach-1959 . And there was the "favourite" link.
I don't know how others handle their collections, but stuff I have on DVD is stuff I like a lot. Stuff I don't like I don't buy. That's why most ratings are 7 and higher in my DVD collection. Favourites would come almost entirely from DVDs in my case. I set up a customised list for the time being.

I decided it would be better not to split favorite movies between the movies section and dvd section with 50% choosing to list their favorite movies in the dvd section and 50% doing it in the movie section.
Movies section was designed for movies you have watched and want to watch (doesn't matter where or how), DVD section is for DVDs you own or want to own.

The only problem with that for me is TV movies. Made-for-TV movies like Salem's Lot and Duel are cult classics but since they're in the TV section I can't put them among my favorite movies.

Thank you, Tom, for explaining. Hmmm, I'll have to think about how to handle this for myself. I'll probably stick to my "All time favourites" list, but keep on adding movies I watched to the movie list.
