16 years, 10 months ago at Jul 2 7:39 - i wonder if there was any better mechanism for deleting your own account. maybe a mail (to a provided mailadress) with a link you have to click similar to mails for registration. my main concern with the current mechanism is that you could easily delete an users account should the account be hacked. being irreversible that deletion would be devastating.

16 years, 10 months ago at Jul 2 10:59 - You still need a password to delete the account and if you know the password you can change their email address anyway or just manually delete all their stuff.

16 years, 10 months ago at Jul 2 11:55 - sure, but maybe instead of the password you should check the answer to some personal question that was defined at registration like "your mother's maiden name" or "name of brother/sister", "first car model" etc. that you can't change.
