Accent marks replaced by question marks?
Deleted user

I'm not sure if this happening just to me. Every time I use an accent mark, it becomes a question mark... and that makes it difficult to add anything that contains accent marks to my favorites list. As an example, I edited my profile to add Toshirô Mifune to my list of favorite actors, but it appeared as Toshir? Mifune. So, to overcome this, I tried:
1. Going to Toshirô Mifune's page
2. Adding him to my favorites
3. Looked at my profile and it points to toshir-mifune (appears as Toshir? Mifune)
Update: It seems someone fixed this already. (Thank you.) But...there's one more thing:
Should I just forget about the accent marks for authors? They appear now and direct me to the right page too, but when I add them to my favorites... then their name without accent marks appear in my favorites list (apart from their names as I entered them - with the accent marks). An example is Ciro Alegría who is twice in my list:
* I have Ciro Alegría as added by me by editing my profile
* and Ciro Alergria as added by the system when I clicked on the add to favorites option in his page since I didn't see my name under his "Loved by" list
As I said, this last thing isn't a big deal. So, I can drop the accent marks if necessary.

Yes I fixed it so the actor is stored correctly now, thanks for posting about it.
The issue with Ciro Alegría is that for some reason he was stored as 'Ciro Alegria' in the database, I have changed this.

Thank you.
Is there a way or is it being planned to add a feature to edit authors/artists/books like one is able to edit movie information?
Because apart from Ciro Alegría, there are others who have names that are correctly spelled with accent marks such as:
Julio Cortázar
José Carreras
Federico García Lorca
(and probably others that are not in my lists)
And, I don't want to annoy you or some other developer on changing each one on the database... unless there's some sort of script that you guys can use to make sure that no matter if someone spells it with or without the accent mark, one will still appear under their "loved by" list?
Optionally, and if it's more convenient, I can drop the accent marks for the rest of authors/artists. As I said before, it isn't a big deal. However, if there are plans to add more interface *languages to the site later on, it might be nice to figure out a way to keep the accent marks.
*If you guys do plan to have the site in more languages, I'll be glad to help with the Spanish translations.
