A New Elephant Man?

Recently on television I have been seeing a commercial with a montage of movie clips and one of them shows an actor as the Elephant Man being unveiled and then a stunned reaction shot of a crowd shows Ian Holm in period hair and costume. This clip is in color and it obviously isn't The Elephant Man (1980). Does anyone know what this movie is? I can't seem to find it in Ian Holm's filmography.

I don't think it was a new version of The Elephant Man but part of the movie "From Hell".

Doing a search for John Merrick (the Elephant Man) and cross checking with "Ian Holm's" that is the only film that he is in as well as that character.

I haven't seen the film but think that might be what your looking for.
