19 years, 1 month ago at Mar 12 15:39 - Again, I think listal is a great beta, but I have a few thoughts on interface improvements. First, you currently have Sort By as a pulldown menu. I think that Column Headers which are clickable and resort Ascending then Decending would be a bit more effective, rather than reading from a pull-down ment.
Second, although I appreciate the breadth of ratings and having 10 stars, the problem is that visually, humans can see only four or five elements at a time. Having only 5 stars (with halfs allowed) would improve visual digestability. You could see at a glance what the rating of a movie is.
Lastly, I think the Custom Lists are kind of barren, I think my ratings should show - it seems like a glaring omission.
Not so much a suggestion, but a question - how could we help support development of Listal. I understand not wanting to mar the very pleasant user interface, but how about a link somewhere with an option to purchase at Amazon through your account so you could get some financial reward - perhaps even a page of click-throughs. The work is excellent, and I want to support it.

19 years, 1 month ago at Mar 14 1:52 - Awesome suggestions. Someone was talking about rating 1-10 stars but displaying 5 stars for the same points you brought up. I think sorting by clicking the column title would be great. That's a fairly common feature.
