400 views and 15 votes Why? Means?

Wth is with the votes to views ratio? Are those all bots or something? I vote for at least 1 in every 10 lists i see.

Is this because of bots or multiple views by same person?
Any unregistered user who used listal enough to give any significant views would register.

Lists aren't only example as threads have about 10:1 ratio too.

And listal isn't the only example as i have noticed this in other site's forums and youtube (like button:views).

I've wondered about that too. My guess would be that a lot of Listal users aren't voting for lists after they look at them for whatever reason, and that multiple views also factor in. The more times a list hits the main page the more people look at it I would think, but that doesn't always mean it gets voted for.

I'd think bots would only account for a small percentage, though there seems to be an increase of them lately.

Could be too that if a user opens a list with lots of descriptions in a language they can't read then they don't look any further into it.

With regard to threads, I know I've opened some out of curiosity but had nothing to contribute after reading whatever was there (happens a lot with threads asking for a movie title they can't remember). And I'm sure multiple views definitely factor into those, especially if the thread has replies.

What is YOUR view to post/comment/vote ratio?

I've never paid close attention, but I'd say on lists I vote for 3 out of every 10 I look at, and probably comment on 1 or 2 out of those 3. Of course I'm not looking at EVERY list on here, as I can usually tell from the title whether I want to look at it or not.

As for the forums, I don't drop in here very regularly...as of today I've posted 3 threads (I think all in Listal help) and made 77 posts (a check shows my oldest post was 6 months ago). I know I've viewed the threads I've posted on multiple times as others have posted behind me, and again I don't look at every thread in here. So perhaps a 1 in 10 ratio for forums?

for the whole muti-view thing does listal count the same person many times?

Sounds like it to me. So if you look at a list 10 times, that's 10 views. Also I've noticed it'll only count you once for views for your own lists. Which means all lists get viewed at least once.
