19 years, 2 months ago at Feb 28 13:26 - The stars are now showing up as 10 full stars instead of 5 stars. Hate it. Hard to read, you can't quickly visualize the rating. Please go back to the old way, every other site uses the 5 star approach for good reason.

19 years, 2 months ago at Feb 28 15:45 - I agree but I think I heard Tom talking about adding more stats to our homepage such as "top 10 rated". Adding a 10 star rating system makes rating a little more accurate and a little easier to make a Top 10 Rated feature. I think in a 5 star system we'd have too many high rated items which would make the feature less... uhh... fuck can't think of a word but I'm sure you get it. Maybe that's why he did it?

19 years, 2 months ago at Feb 28 15:53 - The advantage of this system is that you can re-rate products in the list view. The disadvantages is that you get 10 stars which is quite long.
Possibilities :
- Allow rating to 1-5 stars in list view but allow rating 1-10 on the main product pages
- Option in preferences to switch to the old system (I try to avoid preferences wherever possible though)
- Leave as is.
I would be interested in reading other opinions

19 years, 1 month ago at Mar 12 23:15 - Why not allow ratings of 1-10 and display five stars but use half stars? For instance, a 7/10 rating would be displayed as 3+1/2 stars.

19 years, 1 month ago at Mar 12 23:46 - Agree completely with punkteleos and the half-stars. It has the finess of a 10-degree system with the legibility of 5-stars.
