[Sugg.] Home page notification icons of voted pic or list

If you are like me, you would be curious to know *which* pic or list has been voted for, when you see a new vote in your Notifications on the Home page.
So, why not have notifications with small *icons* of the voted picture or list, in order to see at a glance which pic or list was voted, a bit like it is in the Contacts updates where it shows the icon of the voted/updated pics and lists.

It would be more effective in my opinion if you scroll over the update of your vote, to see a pop-up icon of the picture you get the vote.
With this way the page don't need to load all the picture all the time.
Plus with that method we can put bigger icons of the pics.

5 notification icons would weigh something like 5 x 5 KB. No big deal, I say :)

Both of those would be fine by me. That's a great suggestion OP!

The new notification that I would like to see (if at all possible) is a notification that a list has been promoted to the main page. Not that my lists get promoted very often, but it would be nice to get a message about that if they do.

I do get a message whenever I get a vote, so sometimes I can correctly assume that a list has been promoted when I get a lot of vote notifications at once. I can't be sure, though. The multiple votes can also be for different lists.

That's another one I'd like to see as well.
