Born and raised in Waterford, Ireland. It was a move to New York City at the age of 23 that brought him his break into show business. During film school a tongue in cheek short film he made called "I Am Jeff Shanagarry" got into the hands of comedy producer Stephen Rosenfield and the rest was history. Tony started doing stand up comedy in the clubs and pubs of NYC making his debut in the famed Gotham Comedy Club. It was also during his first year of film school he ended up getting some bit parts and broke into the acting world.
