Appeared in the Radio Series Hancock's Half Hour from 1954 - 1956 and then this programme was transferred onto television in 1956. He was born in Hall Green, Birmingham Warwickshire on 12th May 1924 and died in Sydney, New South Wales, Australia on 24th June 1968.
He was married twice, his first marriage was to Cicely J.E Romanis from 1950 until 1965.
His second marrige was to Freda 'Freddie' Ross from 1965 until 1968.
He appeared in The Rebel and The Punch and Judy Man in the early 1960's.
