Tom Deitz was an American novelist from Georgia. He held AB and MA honors from the University of Georgia in medieval English. He served as a college instructor, adjunct English faculty member and asst. professor at numerous colleges in Georgia.
Author of the David Sullivan series, set in Georgia and the Realms of Faerie, and the Soulsmith trilogy, as well as the stand-alone novel The Gryphon King. He received the Phoenix Award in '07 from the DeepSouthCon.
His hobbies and creative outlets included visual arts (murals, fantasy art, etc..), on-stage drama productions via local community and college productions, model automobile
